Originally published in Tamil more than twenty years ago, this books contains Sadhu Om’s summaries of Bhagavan’s practical teachings. Many people wrote to Sadhu Om while he was alive, asking for clarification of Bhagavan’s teachings. Sadhu Om would occasionally formulate his reply in the form of a Tamil verse. These verses were collected by a Dr Santanam and eventually published under the Tamil title Sadhanai Saranam (The Essence of Spiritual Practice). The 290 verses of this work, along with supplementary notes on them, are published in English in this book, along with two other shorter poems that also contain Sadhu Om’s advice on sadhana.
